To showcase the diversity of the Climate March participants, various blocks will participate. This way, they draw extra attention to a specific issue or theme within climate justice, specific victims of climate change, or represent a united voice on behalf of, for example, an organization or professional group.
Accepted blocks:
Climate justice is about solidarity. That’s why the Frontline Block is leading the march, directly behind the joint banner. Representatives from the various blocks will march within this block, focusing on groups hardest hit by the consequences of the climate crisis. This includes the youth.
Political parties are welcome to participate as a block, provided they endorse the call and demands of the Climate March. However, we ask that they refrain from using party-political flags or banners around the stage.
You can register a group using the form below. The organization will assess your registration based on the guidelines.
Once a group is accepted, it will be added to the overview at the bottom of this page. This way, you can see which groups will be participating in the Climate March. You can choose to include contact information so that interested parties can join your group directly.

In this block, the current and future front lines will walk together, directly behind the collective banner of the Climate March. The block’s layout reflects the shared struggle: at the front are the communities already being affected, behind them the young people, the next generation, who see their future disappearing.
Together, we lead the way and form the heart of the Climate March: international, intergenerational, and militant.
We will meet on Sunday, October 26th, at the corner of Malieveld near Boorlaan and Koningskade, starting at 12:30 PM.
Indigenous communities protect nearly 90% of biodiversity worldwide. Yet, their territories are threatened daily by deforestation, mining, and the destructive practices of large corporations. While Western governments and multinationals continue to fuel the crisis, Indigenous peoples bear the heaviest burden. Their struggle for land, water, and life is a fight for all of us—and deserves our visible solidarity.
The Caribbean Netherlands feels the climate crisis every day. Hurricanes are becoming more violent, heatwaves are more intense, and a fifth of Bonaire is at risk of disappearing underwater. Yet, The Hague is lagging behind: there are hardly any plans to protect the islands. While the Netherlands pours billions into fossil fuel subsidies, the Caribbean Netherlands is once again being abandoned. This is colonial inequality in the present day—and we will not tolerate it.
People from the Global South and MAPA, who have polluted the least but are the first to be affected—and are leading the world in the fight against destructive industries.

Young people are the generation with the most at stake. Their future is being burned by the choices of governments that continue to protect polluters. But young people are also a force for change. From Fridays for Future to local actions, they have proven that their strength, creativity, and determination can mobilize millions of people. Their voices must be heard at the forefront – because without just choices now, their future will become unliveable.

The world is in crisis: habitats are disappearing, species are becoming extinct, and people are losing their homes. The government is doing far too little to address this crisis. That’s why we’re taking action. We demand that the government take responsibility and do what’s necessary.

The climate crisis is inextricably linked to inequality. Women and marginalized groups in the Global South are hit hardest by climate change, yet they contribute the least to it. That’s why ActionAid Netherlands is once again forming the Feminists for Climate Justice bloc this year, together with Both ENDS, CARE Netherlands, Hivos, Simavi, Stem op een Vrouw (Vote for a Woman), WECF, and WO=MEN. Because only by moving away from our patriarchal system and focusing on feminist solutions can we truly tackle the climate crisis head-on.

In the run-up to the parliamentary elections, Greenpeace is conducting a flexible and relentless campaign to make one message heard everywhere: Time for choices!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve traveled across the country with our loud car, a brightly-decorated bus full of speakers. We attended political events, debates, and conferences to make it clear: the time for talking is over, it’s time for choices!
🔥 And we’re not done yet.
At the Climate March, we’ll make our voices heard one last time!

More nature means less climate change and more justice. This block focuses on the role of nature, because plants, animals, and fungi are important in tackling climate change. Forests absorb CO2, whale poop creates plankton that absorbs CO2, and trees are our natural umbrellas in extreme heat. In terms of justice, nature also helps us provide everyone with water and food and protects us from flooding by, for example, absorbing rain from peak rainfall into the soil. Join us and give nature a voice.

Old industry is polluting, ruining, and suffocating our future. While nature is deteriorating and sea levels are rising, the old political establishment is giving billions of euros to companies like Tata Steel under the illusion that they will become greener. We are pulling the plug. The Netherlands and Europe must be climate-neutral by 2040.
That’s why we are gathering en masse in The Hague on October 26th. We are taking to the streets for a green future!
Our demand is clear: Stop Tata Steel, build Tata City! It’s time for climate justice. No more carcinogenic corporations, but a green, just future.

Weapons are a climate problem. Weapons and militarism account for at least 5.5% of all greenhouse gas emissions. This is more than the annual emissions of all of Russia. The same wealthy industrialized countries that are causing the climate crisis have the highest military expenditures. Meanwhile, they pay little compensation to the poorest countries hardest hit by the climate crisis. Money needed for climate policy is spent on weapons. Conflicts should be resolved, not fought out. If we divide the world into power blocs, we cannot solve global problems like the climate crisis.
