We all want a good future – for our children, for each other, for the planet we live on. That’s the foundation, isn’t it?
But the reality is harsh: worldwide, people are losing their homes, crops, and lives to floods, droughts, and fires. In Europe too: thousands are dying from heat, forests in flames. It is precisely the people in countries that contributed least to this crisis that are already being hit hardest.
But government after government is choosing to spare major polluters instead of protecting people. It is up to us to change this. Just before the elections, we will take to the streets en masse and demand change from the next government.
Things have to change. Things can change. But we must choose now.
For climate justice. For life. For each other.
Restore oceans, forests, and biodiversity – far and close to home. Choose clean air and a living environment free of PFAS and toxins. Solve the nitrogen crisis with environmentally friendly agriculture.
Invest in sustainable housing, public transportation, and solar and wind energy – for everyone. Create green jobs with good working conditions. Support people who protect their habitats – from Bangladesh to Bonaire.
Take on major polluters and billionaires. End fossil fuel subsidies and present a fair plan to phase out fossil fuels.
