Climate march on Zuidas against destruction by big polluting companies
The Climate Crisis Coalition (KCC), a collaboration of 8 social and environmental organizations, is organizing a climate march on Friday,
Choose our future. Ditch fossil fuels. Just before Budget Day, we are showing that the Netherlands is ready for a different course. As long as we remain dependent on oil, coal, and gas, we remain at the mercy of international conflicts and volatile energy prices. Meanwhile, the consequences of the climate crisis are becoming increasingly palpable.
We choose clean energy. We choose greater control over our energy supply, affordable energy bills, greater security, and a livable future.
Will you join us? We are building a strong movement together. March with us, distribute posters, mobilize your network, or join in with your own continent.
In the coming weeks, choices will be made that determine what the Netherlands will look like in the years ahead. Yet, the political establishment continues to cling to a reliance on fossil fuels. This leaves us vulnerable to international tensions and volatile energy prices.
Three days after the Climate March, the government will present the national budget on *Prinsjesdag* (Budget Day). Precisely because this government lacks a majority, nothing is set in stone yet.
This is the moment to show that the Netherlands is choosing a new course. The larger the movement, the stronger the signal.
We need your help to grow this movement. Share our posts, invite your network, put up posters and stickers in your neighborhood, and use our materials to take action yourself.
Help out behind the scenes, join the crowd, or form a powerful bloc with your colleagues, movement, or organization. Show what you stand for. Curious about what you can do?
